Connect and Comment with Facebook

Facebook is taking over the online world and making it easier for the little guy to start generating more traffic and interest in their website. There are so many websites out there now, and who can keep track of all of their user logins and passwords? I know I can’t, I had to create a spreadsheet to be able to reference all of mine! To take the work and thought out of remembering, Facebook has launched Facebook Connect. It allows users to log in to a website without having to create a new user account. You may have seen this recently, Geni.com introduced this feature on their site. Today, I implemented Facebook Connect on our website, now our friends and family can even more easily stay connected with us, and we look forward to it!

*Note - Facebook Connect has been disabled, at least for now.

I Love You, Man - Special Screening

Morgan scored some free passes to a special screening of the new movie, I Love You, Man! It is at 7:30PM at the Century Downtown Plaza 7. Ethan and Mel will be joining us in the hilarity.

I have been sick the last few days and I’m starting to feel better now. It started in the middle of the night on Monday and then Tuesday was St. Patrick’s Day and I had to go out. I don’t think I did myself any favors going out and drinking a few beers, but you only live once as they say.

Excuse The Mess

I am in the process of porting our entire website over to a WordPress site, it started with simply the home page, but I am now moving everything. I expect the process to take about a week, but we’ll see. I have done quite a bit of work and I think most things should at least be functioning right now but you may find some pages missing if you start poking around.

On another note, pictures from our cruise are now posted. You will find that there is now a section for you to leave your comments, this is an example of things that will be available for you more as the WordPress work becomes more complete. To view the pictures from out cruise click here.

No Hua Dog For 10 Days

I drove to Nevada City today to drop Hua off to my parents while Morgan and I are on vacation. While I was there we went to lunch at Kane’s Fine Food Restaurant, I have been there on two other occasions and it definitely didn’t disappoint today either. I had the Kane’s Burger and a beer.

I was really tired when I arrived home around 6:30PM but the boredom outweighed the tiredness and I went over to Ethan and Mel’s for some leftover eats and the movie Yes Man. That movie cracks me up! Tomorrow Morgan returns from visiting Daisha in Oakland and our Sunday is dedicated to preparing for our much needed 8 Day Carnival Exotic Mexican Riviera Cruise. We need to purchase a few necessities and pack.
