How time flies, huh? I’m sorry for leaving everyone for the past 3+ months, things have been all over the place lately. Now, here we are just one week from Christmas and a couple of weeks from 2010! I am still looking for employment and Morgan is working like crazy. I miss her a lot, but she is amazing and a really hard worker. My pre-New Year’s resolution is to be committed to this website and continue to blog about things. I have a lot to say, but just not much of a writer. There has been so many things that have happened since our marriage on September 5th and I get that I can’t sum everything up here in a post or two, but I will go over a few highlights: We were married!, we went on a FANTASTIC Honeymoon, I fought with EDD A LOT, Mom and Dad sold the house in Grass Valley (sad face), Ethan and Mel have really made their house nice, Zach and Megan are engaged and pregnant, and I am starting Brew Caddy (brewcaddy.com). I have pictures from our Wedding and Honeymoon to show everyone, but those are about all you’ve missed out on. Morgan and I haven’t been anywhere lately, her work STINKS and we have no money! This post is pretty much all over the place, but please look for future posts with more direction, coming soon!

It was ugly, clunky, and not very friendly, therefore I didn’t update it much. I have been feeling really creative this week and getting a lot of design work done, so I thought I’d spend some time out on our website. Now, the schedule is more like it used to be, it is a simple list of upcoming dates and what the event is. What is new now, is that the item can be clicked on. Once on the event page, you will see a Google Map of the location along with an event description and time. It is also possible to RVSP for certain events (maybe in the future I will implement this feature for an event). Have a look at our new schedule layout here. FYI, not all of our events that are scheduled are on the schedule yet, and they will be soon.
Filed under: General Tags: WordPressOn Friday Matt took his boat out for the first time of the year and invited Ethan, Mel, Carrie and me along with his daughter for the day. The six of us met at Safeway in Lincoln to purchase food and drinks before heading to Camp Far West Lake. Ethan, Carrie and I got a chance to wakeboard and all of us got whipped around the lake in the three person tube, I definitely fell more than anyone else. At the end of the day, before Matt got his turn to wakeboard and show us how it is done, the boat decided not to fire up again. Unfortunately, we had to be towed in by a fellow boater. Before arriving home we stopped at Old Town Pizza for dinner. The good news is that Matt’s boat is now working and it didn’t cost him anything to fix, so we are all looking forward to day number 2 on the lake! View pictures from the day here.

I had an IPA and IRA to go with my Pulled Pork Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries, which I highly recommend! We then met up with Carrie at Beermann’s in Roseville to get a couple more brews. I’m not a big fan of the Beermann’s beers and yesterday was no different, but they are the right price and the atmosphere is fun so we keep going back. After Beermann’s we caravaned to my house where Morgan met up with us with two Old Town Pizza pizzas! Val and Mel trickled through the door and we spent most of the night playing Cranium, it was so much fun! My team (Morgan + Mel) lost both games. The night wrapped up a few minutes after midnight and Ethan took home a mix and match 6-pack. Apples to Apples and Cranium are my new favorite games!
