Pama’s Birthday Party

This morning I headed up to Auburn for Pama’s Birthday. I left early so that I could have breakfast with Ethan and Mel. Mel chose to go to Katrina’s Cafè, I had been to Katrina’s in the past but I didn’t remember it being so good! I had the Chicken Chipotle Omelette and it was the best I’ve ever had, I will definitely be going back soon.

Following breakfast Mel and I went to BevMo to pick up a new keg, I went with Rubicon Brewing Company’s IPA, we will be tapping it tonight and playing some Beer Pong on the table that Mason built for us. Eventually we had some Old Town Pizza at the Old Town Dessert Cafè while Pama opened up various cards and gifts.

Before returning home Mel and I stopped in the Auburn Alehouse to get a drink, I went with the Isotope PU240 DIPA, yum! Now I have to tidy up the house in case someone actually shows up tonight.

Valentine’s Dinner at Sac Brew Pictures

Pictures from our Valentine’s Day Dinner at Sacramento Brewing Company have been posted here. In one week we will be on our way to catch our flight to San Diego from Sacramento. Our eight day cruise departs on Tuesday!

Valentine’s Dinner and Moving Recap

We kept it very low-key this year on Valentine’s Day due to our cruise departing in one week! In the morning we helped Jen move into her cute new house, as a reward she treated us to Daphne’s Greek Cafè, yum! We then vegged out for the rest of the day including naps. After text messaging back and forth with Ethan and Mel we formulated a plan to visit Sacramento Brewing Company for dinner and tastings. None of us had frequented the original SBC location and it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, the food and beers were excellent. Russ will be posting a few pictures from the night later today, so check back to see them!
