August 26th Wedding Update

We are really getting down to the wire now, almost less than double digits until the wedding! The 10 day countdown has started. This weekend was amazing for both Morgan and I. Our boys and girls really showed up in full effect and gave us the best parties of our lives.

Friday the boys headed up to Reno where we were upgraded to the 25th floor into a suite with adjoining room. We had dinner at the El Dorado Buffet and then walked around the strip for a bit. We decided to just head into Brew Brothers. They had live music but it wasn’t too impressive. We then went to Rum Bullions to see the duel piano bars. After getting ripped on by them for a while we headed to Aura. We contemplated heading to a club after that but decided we should get at least a few hours of sleep. Saturday we got some breakfast at the 24 hour cafe followed by a 20 bar beer crawl that happens once a month in Reno. Dinner was at The Prime Rib Grill, and it was amazing! We headed to 210 North and found ourselves in VIP with everything you could imagine. It was so much fun that we just stayed there until 3:30AM. Sunday was reserved for resting and driving home. We arrived back in Roseville about 20 minutes after Morgan.

I don’t know all of the exact names of places that Morgan went to but they started off Saturday by visiting two wineries in Sonoma before checking into their hotel in San Francisco. Dinner was at AsiaSF, a transgender restaurant and club. After AsiaSF the girls headed to various night clubs around the city. In the morning they had brunch and then drove their separate ways. I’m sure there will be pictures posted here in the near future, but they won’t be ours personally. We were having such a good time that there was no time!

Yesterday was Morgan’s 28th Birthday so we went to lunch and the river followed by dinner at Old Town Pizza with friends. Today we decided on a honeymoon finally. We are going on a 7 Day Western Caribbean Cruise from Miami, FL. The cruise will be with Carnival on the Valor. The cruise leaves on September 13th and returns on the 20th. August 19th Wedding Update

Just 17 more days until the big one and I am having a hard time believing that everything will all come together, but Morgan says not to worry. We have been discussing our Honeymoon lately and I think we are going to do yet another Carnival Cruise, this time either out of Galveston, TX or Ft Lauderdale, FL. Tomorrow I am going to get Hua to my parents because the following day the boys and I are going to Reno for the Bachelor Party and Morgan and her girls are leaving Saturday for her Bachelorette! I have done some more updates on the site, a few are visual and some are informational. The Travel Info and Events pages mostly. Again, we are a few pieces short on RSVP cards, so if you’re holding on to yours, QUIT IT! We want them for our scrapbook and for organization. How will we know you are coming if we don’t get your card, don’t be left out! My wedding ring has been special ordered and may not arrive in time for the wedding (I do have a temporary ring just in case). My left ring finger is a 12.5 and my ring had to have a special mold created to make it. I guess it will truly be a one-of-a-kind. That is all until next week, look out for another update Monday or Tuesday following all of this weekends festivities!

August 11th Wedding Update

Last week we had two engagement photo sessions with two different photographers. The first session was with Meagan who is our wedding photographer, the second was with Donna Beck who is a friend of Morgan. The video above is from our session with Donna, it was shot in Historic Roseville and she put the video together for us.

We are receiving RSVP cards daily, but we still have a lot more out there, please send them in to use ASAP. Tomorrow our wedding favors are being dropped off at the house, I can’t wait to see how they turned out! Today, Morgan and I have been working a lot on wedding items. I have added some information on parking in downtown on the travel info page for people not familiar with the area.

Wedding Invitations

I have added images of our wedding invitations to our website since most everyone has received theirs formally by now. At the top of the page click on the banner that says “View Our Formal Invitations”. From there you can scroll through the four pieces that I designed that were incorporated into our invites. We can’t wait to see everyone and share this wonderful day with all of you!!!
